My local area network is xfinity it is connected to my phone, three laptops, my printer, my blu ray player, and my ps3. What I learned about networks is that everything is connected. My OMG moment was when i found out anything you put on the internet can be found again. i think everyone should know anyone can see your search history

I have many things connected to my home network.  My ISP is Comcast/Xfinity.  The cord that comes into my house that gives me access to the internet is called a Coax Cable.  My Coax Cable comes into my living room and connects to my Modem Router.  My Modem Router provide my house with Wifi and i have many things in my house connected to Wifi such as 4 cell phones, 3 computers, and a xbox.  That is my home network.

My home network gets its inernet from Comcast, and then that transfers to the backroom of my home. Then it goes to the

motem and router, and then it provides the inernet to the computers. Also,  the wifi is provided to the many laptops, ipods,

phones that exist in our house. I learned what wires go to what machinery. To be honest, I had no idea how the inernet that

came to the devices in the house worked. I also learned that sometimes there is a motem and router in one, and then there are

those which are seperate. I had no idea what a motem or a router was until I learned it in class, and saw it my self when my

 dad explained it to me!

This is my home network. First the cloud then it goes Xfinity then it goes through the coaxial cable, that connects through the bathroom. This attaches to a motem router and this creates the wi-fi. which connects to my laptop at home and my phone.  I would tell people to make sure everything is locked down. This means locking down your wi-fi and other such things. I'm Lydia Anderson and this is my home network

Home Network, Seitz

My L.A.N is what provides me and my house with internet connection. My internet service provider is Verizon FIOS, and the devices in my house that connect to this network are, my iPad, my iPod, and iPhone, both of my parents Laptops, my Laptop, and a desktop computer. The way that the internet comes into my house is from a fiberoptic cable that comes in through my room, and through the wall to our TV room, and plugs into the router though a coax cable. Then the internet is spread throughout our house though wifi. Something I learned about networks is that all the information that you request on the internet has to travel miles, and miles to get the request accepted, and then has to come all the way back. This process usually only takes seconds, or milliseconds, which I think is incredible. I would recommend to everyone that you make sure that what you search on the internet is safe and protected. Don't let anyone see what you are searching if they are not supposed to see it.

In my home network I have 10 devices hooked up to my wifi but they can work without wifi also. My cable is a Verizon Fios Cable that comes through my mom and dad's room. My ISP cord is a Fiber Optic Cable cord. And with that all my devices are connected to my wifi. I've learned so much on how these things work and I enjoyed it.

My internet service provider is Verizon and my mom pays $1,800 a year for it. The network comes through my parents bed room through a co ax cable that is connected to a modem/router. The devices that are connected to that is 3 phones, 2 laptops,tv, kindle fire, and a ipod. I learned how to find out my own home networks and if it it comes to be I will know other people's too if they need my help finding what theirs is. I would tell people that their home network is a serious of devises connected to bring in internet for you to enjoy.

My local area network is Comcast, we have a coax cable connecting the internet to our house. I have a modem/router. The items on my home network are my laptop, my mom's laptop, and the Wii. I learned a lot about networks, like what cable connects the internet to my house, and I learned about all of the different things connect to my modem/router. I also learned the differance between the modem/router and just the modem. I would like to tell people to figure out what type of chord they have, because it does make a difference to how your internet may work.

Home Network, Siani Davis

Let me tell you about my home network, it all starts with the internet. My internet server is Verizon Fios. The service travels through a fiber optic cable which is located in my brother’s bedroom. The fiber optic cable also connects to my modem router. The devices that are connected to my network are 4 tablets, 4 cell phones, 1 computer, 3 laptops, my printer and xbox.

Something I learned about home networks in general is that every home network has a different cable. For example, Verizon Fios uses a fiber optic cable while Comcast uses some other cable.

The only thing that is mind blowing to me about the internet is that whatever you decide to post or type is never yours. Even if you delete something, someone can always find it. It is such a bummer that you have to constantly be careful and proof-read what you write or post because it can cause many dangerous issues. It can also possibly create viruses.
