I rolled down my window, went for a drive in the car, pulled into the drive way and noticed the sign: Rocco's Italian Ice. The only Ritas near me has closed. I was not able to get my free water ice. 

I have a superman complex that the people I love seem to intensify daily. I just can't help, but want to protect them. 

A fossil that is over 70 million years old is sitting on my kitchen table.

She said, "I cried for so long" and my heart dropped. We had said our pitiful goodbye about 3 hours ago, and she was well on her way to New York City. I didn't think she would really cry, but I guess I underestimated her sensitivity. The thing is, this is good bye. Our hug and good bye only meant good bye for a few minutes. Of course once she was in the car, and I had opened my laptop we would be on ichat carrying on our convo. But saying good bye to side by side meant saying hello to states apart, and that was what lead her to tears.

I've never been the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, New Jersey, but I understand now why there isn't much hype about it. It's fairly small, and in my opinion way too expensive for the hour and a half it takes to walk through the place. But just like going anywhere, you pay for the experience with your company. Fortunately, my company was perfect, and I didn't have to pay. 

Mija spent the day with me. It honestly felt unreal; her and I in the same place at the same time. This is a girl that has been a virtual best friend of mine for the past few years. I wish it could be like that everyday. Me and her against the world, as it usually seems when we enter conflict together. Though my friends were out most of the day on their trip, we had a good day. I'm glad she was comfortable enough to talk around them after school. We had fun, though. This entire weekend will mark one of the most important weekends of my life- thus far, and in coming years.  

This Saturday night my mom invited friends and family over for game night to celebrate her 40th birthday. My family and close friends are very competitive, so things got crazy very quickly. Plus, the constant flow of alcohol made things even more hectic. There was a great amount of name calling, smack talking and trash talking. It was probably the best fun I ever had with my family in a long time. It was even better because my boyfriend was there to enjoy all the fun, too. The party ended pretty late, around 1-1:30, and I was exhausted! I woke up the next morning and me and my mom went to breakfast, at our usual spot, Junes. After our regulars we went shopping , and then after went to the coming out party for political candidate Isiah Lewis (random, I know). He use to work for my mom so we went to support him. Hopefully I will be volunteering for campaign soon. Later that night we went out to Chili's with my mom's best friend, and daughter. That had to be the worst time we ever had at Chili's but it was hysterical. We had the pleasure of having a new waitress, and it was obvious in her work. My mom and friends were very angry, while me and Semaj just kept laughing. I had a pretty eventful weekend, and it was pretty good. I guess that it made me ready for this upcoming week, hopefully.

As I was preparing dinner, my brother came into the house looked around  and said " Where is Zay?" I looked at him and said "What are you talking about." Then he said "The only time you cook like this is when Zay is coming over". I argued know then he named the last 6 times that I cooked whether it was breakfast or dinner my boyfriend was around.I rolled my eyes, walked into the kitchen and called my boyfriend to make sure he was on his way.
