Go To Sleep

Posted by Mckelly Timothy in Storytelling - Chase on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 1:35 pm

My puppy is so overprotective of my nephew. Last night I finally put my nephew to sleep and he has a cold so it was a little hard for him to breathe he snored a little. Every time he snored my puppy barked which woke him up. I would put him back to sleep then my puppy did it again. We went the whole night playing this game.

I Hate Waiting

When waiting for a package or UPS, whenever a truck passes my house I run outside or to the window.

Kindergarten

Posted by Harrison Talese-Rhodes in Storytelling - Chase on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 9:20 am

I was sitting in my kindergarten classroom watching a movie with my class and I found a gummy bear on the floor. In my 5 year old mind, since I couldn't have more than the one if I were to eat it, then hell, I might as well stick it into my nose. I did so, giggling, amused at my own silly antics.

But when I tried to take it out, I found that I could not-- my attempts to pull it out only pushed it farther into my nasal cavity! Soon enough, it had disappeared into what I could only imagine was my brain.

I never saw that gummy bear ever again.

A Joke Gone Wrong

Posted by Andre Serrano in Storytelling - Chase on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 8:47 am

At the beach with harrison, we were walking down the board walk, enjoying the nice weather. We were in third grade probably, so we were in the height of our immaturity. This was also the time where it was fun to tap people on the opposite shoulder so they would turn on the wrong side in confusion. I did this several times and harrison was to the point where he was probably getting pretty annoyed. A few minutes went by and in a sarcastic voice he says "Ha ha very funny. You're not going to get me again." I looked at him puzzled and at that moment we both knew what happened: a sea gull flying overhead had pooped on his shoulder.

Flavah

Posted by Taylor Valentine in Storytelling - Chase on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 12:30 am

Today, my dad informed me that he had considered naming me Taylah.  I couldn't help but wonder how my life would be different, if I had to live up to such a name.

Dear Fellow Student Interested In Mark Twain,

Posted by Christine Walden in Storytelling - Chase on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 11:37 pm

Would you like to dress in white suits, smoke cigars, and exchange lazy witticisms on a wood porch on a quiet summer evening? I do hope you consider this with the utmost seriousness, I make this offer not in jest but with a quiet hope that you will say yes and allow one of my dreams to be realized. (It only works when done in pairs so surely you understand my desperation.)

           From An Incredibly Eager,

                        Christine Walden

P.S. We shall be wearing mustaches of course.

To kindle or not to kindle

Posted by Dylan Arroyo in Storytelling - Chase on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 11:06 pm

I think it's sad, that I have accepted the fact I won't read many books unless I get a Kindle.
Only because I know I won't carry a big book around to read out of enjoyment. I love reading, I just don't want to have to carry the book around. I think it might be time for me to join team Kindle. I feel okay with this, as long as I don't join team ipad.
