No time

Posted by Emma Connell in Storytelling - Chase on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 7:52 pm

I literally had no time this weekend to post anything for this class. On Saturday I worked from 9am-5pm. As soon as I got home from work I took a shower and was right back out the door to go meet Roberto. Roberto and I our making a cookbook for our capstone and on that Saturday night we decided to meet up go food shopping and then cook some meals which turned out wonderfully.  We cooked from 8pm-11:30 pm, by the time we were done I was knocked out. By 8am on Sunday I was up and getting ready for work. By 8:30am I was out the door. I worked from 9am-4pm that day and by the time I got off work I met up with my mom, grandmom, and my mom's boyfriend for dinner. Afterwards, I went back to grandmom's house. She has internet connection there, but of course when I showed up it was not working, so I couldn't post anything then.

GNGTH N

I do not know what to write about. Yet again I'm exhausted and have no idea why. I've been sleeping fine but still am so tired. perhaps it's because I have no rest days. I deserve one. I'm giving myself one tomorrow. I need to start my benchmarks. So far I'm nowhere. I can't find any motivation or will power to do work. Senioritis has hit me hard.

March 28

Posted by Kimberlea Talington in Storytelling - Chase on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 4:04 am

So I know this is like late but here it goes

On saturday. My sister, mom, and nieces all went to King of Prussia mall. I needed to get somethings for my prom and my eldest niece's graduation. At first I thought it was gonna be boring, but at the day went on, things went good. We went into everyone of our stores and looked around, we got some things, tried on stuff and even went into this scanner that told you what type of jeans look best on you. Everything was great and we were even singing songs on the ride back. I really liked saturday, because it was one of those times where we all were connected and having fun since...well, you know.

WoW

Posted by Katherine Roman in Storytelling - Chase on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 4:03 am

Wow. I haven't been able to post in so long. I have been home and in and out of the doctors office. Apparently I have an exceptionally weak immune system. My brother has a bacteria in his stomach and I think he got me sick with whatever it was. I r now. I feel better now but these next few weeks will be so overwhelming with making up work and benchmarks and my new job. I can't wait until the worst is over and I can just sit back and relax. I need to get myself together. Thank God Mr. Chase is letting me post!

So a thought occurred to me...

Posted by Alexis Beren in Storytelling - Chase on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 3:27 am

Yesterday at work I was standing at the grill, frying bacon, and the weirdest thought came to me. What if one night you went to sleep and in the next morning you woke up in a hospital bed. You were in a coma, and the life you think you've lived thus far was just a comatose dream...

Or if like you died in this life, just to wake up and find out that it was all a dream, and not the Biggie kind. I mean sometimes when you dream it feels so real, you think it's really happening, so what if this was the dream that feels so real.

You can have some deep thoughts when you're standing around frying bacon...

Goodbye Sis

Posted by Arthurline Bowen in Storytelling - Chase on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 3:11 am

Ok my sis and her husband has been staying at my house for over three months now and they are finally leaving today. Omg I'm going to miss her but at the same time I'm happy because I've been     spending to much time together. And I wont miss her too much because I'm going to spend an entire month with her this summer.

fart gone wrong.

Posted by Catherine Young in Storytelling - Chase on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 3:07 am

a bittersweet memory just popped up.

once when my ex-boyfriend and I were at his house, we got into an argument. He was sitting on one end of the bed and I on the other. We weren't talking. I was sitting on his pillow. To silently get revenge for him cursing me out I was going to slip out a silent but deadly one- on his pillow. WRONG. It came out loud and bold. He looked at me. I looked at him.

"Get the fuck out."
"I love you."
"Amira, get out yo"
"I'm sorry Pooohhhhh, it was suppose to be silent!"

*crickets

(I turn to get up, he tackles me)

"I love your lil stank ass"
"I love you too, gimme kiss"

:'(

Brink of Destruction

Posted by Rachel Patterson in Storytelling - Chase on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 2:55 am

It's not hard to see that we are on the brink of destruction.
But when something comes of nothing,
What do you expect me to say?

Too much weight on love that could change with a letter,
A note, a kiss "goodbye".

You know how much you really mean to me,
But ask me ten minutes later,
I'll feel differently.

I'll find you chasing after me,
Years gone by.
But if it is meant to be,
I'll be there with open arms.
If not,
Then we still have what once was.
