Q2 Notebook Reflection- Analeigh Yancey

Posted by Analeigh Yancey in English 1 · Giknis · Y Band on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 7:38 pm

This quarter, my notebook has sincerely helped me create, format, and plan everything from projects to responses to board prompts. Since the last quarter my note taking has become a lot more stable. I believe that I am settling into taking notes effectively. I was able to achieve my goal from last quarter, making legible notes. Not only are they legible, they are actually useful. I genuinely took away from what we talked about in class about Born A Crime into how I annotate when I read. This quarter my notebook has become purposeful and hopefully you will see this during my notebook reflection.

My Q2 Notebook

I believe this quarter my notebook has helped me a lot by keeping all my notes organized and at a place where I can easily access them. This upcoming quarter however I would like to write down more into my notebook as the little as I’ve written has helped me a lot with work and understanding. My Q2 Notebook Project

My notebook has helped me through the quarter by helping me learn how to take notes and being able to use those notes in the future. One way i’ve used my notes through the quarter were annotations in books. I’ve used those annotations in multiple writing assignments and essays I worked on throughout quarter i also used it to take notes on how to take better notes.

My Q2 Notebook Walkthrough

In Q2, my notebook has allowed me to organize my thoughts from the book, lessons, and discussions, as well as brainstorm ideas for projects. In the future I hope to use my notebook more often in discussions and other things where it isn’t specifically needed, and to take notes on everything, rather than specifically when I need to. Notebook Project Q2

My notebook has significantly helped me improved my ability to learn during class yet there are still so many ways how I can fully maximize my potential on taking notes. In the next quarter I definitely will improve on my note taking skills and i will accomplish that by being more active on my notebook.

Q2 Notebook Project

Posted by Brooke Johnson in English 1 · Giknis · Y Band on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 12:36 am

Since quarter one, I have found new ways to improve my notebook to help it make sense to me. This quarter especially, I found a way to organize my discussion notes so I can understand what thought belongs to who, and what response belongs to what question. With organized information, I can learn how others feel about a topic and use their knowledge to expand my own. This shows that through my notes, I can learn more about myself and others in how we learn. I intended to maximize this knowledge by continuing to improve on my discussion notes and how I feel about others’ opinions. In order to do this, I will also need to keep making color coded annotations to be able to contribute to group or pod discussions to be able to suggest ideas, because that is how my reading notes make sense to me.

Ryan's Q2 Notebook Flipthrough

During quarter two this notebook helped with retaining the information in class and in born a crime. To improve my notebook I want to add colors and bigger writing to indicate what is important.

My Q2 Notebook Checkpoint

What the notebook did for me was make it easier to remember things, not in the fact I could look back, but it helps me mentally memorize it when I write it down. I will maximize my notebook by keep using it the same I have been but taking more note in my book.

My Notebook Reflection

This is my reflection on how my notes have been coming and my notes on Born a Crime. My notebook has helped me learn by helping me to have something to write notes in so that I can go back later and study them. Moving forward I will write as much as I can in it.
